Proud to be a RUUD Pro Partner.
Dorr isn't just another town on our service map. It's where we work from. Ryan Andringa founded Andringa's Mechanical here in September 2021, after more than 20 years in the trade (since 2003), and built it on one idea: tell customers the truth about their systems. When a Dorr or Wayland homeowner calls us, they're calling a neighbor, not a call center or a national franchise.
Whether your furnace quit overnight, your AC can't keep up in July, or your boiler started banging this fall, we diagnose first, explain clearly, and recommend replacement only when the numbers actually justify it.
Heating, Cooling, and Boilers: Straight Answers Every Time
We handle the full range of residential and commercial HVAC work across Dorr, Wayland and the surrounding area.
Furnace Repair and Installation
A furnace that's short-cycling, blowing cold air or refusing to start gets a real diagnosis, not a sales pitch. We service all major brands. When a furnace has reached the end of its useful life, we size the replacement for your home and Michigan winters.
Heat Pumps
Today's cold-climate heat pumps perform well below freezing. We'll tell you honestly whether one makes sense for your Dorr or Wayland home, either on its own or paired with your furnace.
AC Repair and Installation
We run a diagnostic first and give you a straight answer about what's wrong and what it will cost to fix. If repair makes sense, we repair it. If replacement is smarter, we show you the numbers.
Ductless Mini-Splits
Room additions, finished basements, detached garages and shops that never get comfortable are good fits for a ductless system. It heats and cools one zone without touching your existing ductwork.
Boiler Service
Andringa's is a single-location shop in Dorr, MI. There's no call center, no national franchise and no commissioned sales team.
Repair-first, every time.
We diagnose accurately, explain clearly, and recommend replacement only when repair no longer makes sense.
Indoor Air Quality
Dry winter air and humid summers are a two-season problem in West Michigan. We install whole-home humidifiers, dehumidifiers, HEPA and UV air purifiers, and assess ductwork honestly before recommending cleaning.
Commercial HVAC
Shops, offices and ag buildings around Dorr and Wayland count on us for commercial installation and service.

Most homeowners don't know what's wrong with their system — and some contractors count on that. Ryan Andringa started this company in 2021 because he'd seen enough upsell-first service models to know West Michigan deserved better. Every technician here is trained to diagnose honestly, explain clearly, and fix what's actually broken.
Whether your furnace quit in January, your AC is struggling through August, or your boiler needs attention, we'll tell you what's going on in plain English before we touch a thing.
