Two Decades of Experience. One Company Built to Do It Right.
Andringa's Mechanical is a locally owned HVAC contractor based in Dorr, MI — founded in 2021 by Ryan Andringa because he'd spent 20 years watching the industry prioritize profit over the people it was supposed to serve.
Why Andringa's Exists
Ryan started in HVAC in 2003. By the time he opened Andringa's Mechanical in September 2021, he'd spent nearly two decades watching good technicians pushed toward upsells, unnecessary replacements, and service calls designed to generate revenue rather than solve problems. He started this company to do something different.
Andringa's is a single-location shop in Dorr, MI. There's no call center, no national franchise, and no commissioned sales team. When you call, you reach a real person. When a technician shows up, they're here to diagnose — not to sell.
Our Mission
At Andringa’s Mechanical, our mission is to do more than provide dependable heating and cooling—we’re here to take care of the community we call home. We are committed to serving our neighbors with honesty, compassion, and quality workmanship while making comfort and safety accessible to those who need it most. By putting people before profit, giving back whenever we can, and treating every customer like family, we strive to build a stronger, more comfortable community—one home at a time.
Meet the People Behind the Work

The Experience Behind the Name Is Not New
The company sign went up in 2021. The expertise behind it goes back to 2003. Ryan has diagnosed and repaired furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and commercial HVAC systems across West Michigan for over two decades. He's seen what happens when technicians are pushed toward commissions and what it looks like when they're not. Andringa's exists because of that difference.
If you're looking for a locally owned HVAC contractor who will tell you what your system actually needs — not what generates the best margin — you've found the right company.
