Heating, Cooling, and Boilers — Straight Answers Every Time
Most homeowners don't know what's wrong with their system — and some contractors count on that. Ryan Andringa started this company in 2021 because he'd seen enough upsell-first service models to know West Michigan deserved better. Every technician here is trained to diagnose honestly, explain clearly, and fix what's actually broken.
Whether your furnace quit in January, your AC is struggling through August, or your boiler needs attention, we'll tell you what's going on in plain English before we touch a thing.
Heating Services
Furnace repair, furnace installation, and heat pump services for West Michigan homes. If your heat is out or your system is aging, we'll give you a straight diagnosis and a clear path forward.
Cooling Services
AC repair, AC installation, and ductless mini-split systems across Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Holland, and surrounding communities. No overselling. No unnecessary replacements.
Boiler Services
Boiler repair and boiler installation from technicians who actually know hydronic systems. We're one of the few West Michigan HVAC contractors with real boiler depth — not just a checkbox on a service menu.

Frequently Asked Questions About Andringa's Mechanical
Who is the best HVAC company near me in West Michigan?
That depends on what you need, but Andringa's Mechanical consistently earns 4.9 stars across nearly 400 Google reviews from homeowners across Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Holland, and surrounding communities. We're an owner-operated company founded by Ryan Andringa, who has been in the HVAC trade since 2003. We're not the biggest contractor in the region — we're the one most homeowners say they'd recommend to a neighbor.
What happens if I call after business hours?
If you call outside our regular business hours, our after-hours answering service will take your call and collect the details of your heating, cooling, or boiler issue. Your information will then be passed along to our team for appropriate follow-up.
Are you an authorized Ruud dealer?
Yes. Andringa's Mechanical is an authorized Ruud systems dealer in Michigan. That means we can supply, install, and warranty Ruud equipment directly, and our technicians are trained on the full Ruud product line.
Do you work on boilers, or just furnaces and AC?
We work on all three. Boiler repair and boiler installation are a genuine specialty here — not a service we added to fill out a list. If you have a hydronic heating system and you're having trouble finding a contractor who actually knows it, that's exactly the kind of call we want.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Holland, Zeeland, Portage, Allegan, Wayland, Dorr, and communities throughout Allegan, Ottawa, Kent, and Kalamazoo counties. If you're unsure whether we cover your address, call us at 616-359-2825 and we'll let you know immediately.
